About John Derting

John grew up in western kentucky where he had 9 brothers and sisters on a small 360 acre farm. He was homeschooled and never had access to so much as a phone until he turned 17 and moved to New York. He comes from not so much but his endeavors to share the beauty of nature are what inspire him to perfect his craft every chance he gets

These days he spends his time hiking the Alaska wilderness and traveling to search and find relaxing rivers and moments worth sharing with the world.
